I did 2.4km run on Tuesday and got 11min 47 sec. to me its ok but still slow. I can always get below 12min and this is my personal best. Aiming for below 11mins then below 10 mins.

i went to united square with joachim, sp , leonard,nic lim, ken and marcus for the FREE CONE DAY by Ben & Jerry's . There were also many schools with us queueing. The queue was so long... until a loop had to be made or a u-turn. When we first reached, we saw Joshua Ho queueing. He was just a quarter more to the stall ! SP cut queue and got his ice-cream but the rest of us were shoo-ed for not queueing =X. We were sort of pissed then Nic Lim and I went to queue from the start. They all went to macdonalds. We queued until 30mins then they returned to join us. wth... danial sidhanand also join us along. 10 more mins then we got our ice-cream. I chose macademia though i wanted chocofudgebrownie coz its too hard.

On the way back got some weird teens with us in the train. They were definitely not locals. A few girls/bitches/slut around 20+ went to took picture with us in the train like wtf. they said they just graduated( of uni ?) so we remind them of their schooldays. they said they are party animals. Pissed us. THen reached home =D

On Saturday I went to Raffles Institution at 11.30am to collect my trophy. Earlier on there was a dialogue competition and SJI did not win. 1st SCGS 2nd TKSS 3rd Cedar. I was shocked what I received was just a trophy and the book vouchers as promised were missing. I noticed the rest also did not received it so I couldnt be bothered to ask them for it. Then from there I took 57 to go to Sultan Mosque to watch other school debate(Malay). I first went to pray coz its time for afternoon prayer already and then I sat there after prayers play handphone game suddenly see Sufi. Then the sec4 gang emerged. So I waited again. After they finished praying then the supporters of the sec4 went back already while the pembahas/debaters stayed on for the results later. Danish and Sufi accompanied me eating at BANQUET Raffles Hotel. LOL.

Then after arguing of such we end up going back to the auditorium to continue watching the debate. Time flies...and it was results time. First they announced the winners for afternoon session. Then to schools that make it to next round. Start of with RGS,VS,CGSS*Cedar, TKGSS. Hey where is the SJI ? We were stunned and frozen on the spot ?? with great sorrow. We failed to retain the 3year consecutive championship title. Today Cikgu ask sec2 higher malay boys who is interested to participate next year then Hussein, ME and Farhan raised our hands. Takpe tahun depan masih ada. Pasukan kami tahun depan akan menebus kekalahan ini dan mencatat/menggubah sejarah untuk mengembalikan status Raja Bahas ke SJI. Kami tidak akan mengecewakan! Tuhan sentiasa membimbing kami bersama guru-guru dan satu sekolah pun. Piala bahas BH akan dikembalikan ke SJI !

Today I received an unexpected news from Cikgu Fauziah Hussein , my HML teacher. It was kind of a surprise to me planned by them( +the students). 2nd lesson for today was Physics. We went to lab for some practical. It was like any other practical. Then it was MT. Upper sec lab ( we use it coz what we doing are not from our syllabus) was quite far from my class. I was kind of rushing to class so that I wont be late for MT. Then Naufal and I walked to malay class tgthr. I saw that the others were already in class continuing a work from tuesday. So I knocked the door, greeted cikgu and suddenly they clapped. I was like stunned and asked "Huh whats going on ?" Cikgu said I won in the Malay essay writing competition org by RI . I asked for my place. She said I was the champion. OMG. Unexpected. I thought I screwed the whole competition. Thank god. Prize presentation is this coming Saturday 11.20 am. I will receive $40 book voucher and a trophy. =D Though sadly I cannot watch the malay debate team battle it out with RGS (ELITES BATTLE!) , at least the reason was sth worth for. CHAMPion you know. 2nd was a girl from tkss. 3rd was a guy from vs. SJI 1st woots. FINALLY I FEEL PROUD TO BRING GLORY TO SJI. ( A SOLO EFFORT) individual effort ! I would like to thank everyone esp. cikgu-cikgu and friends or anybody involved for the support given. LOL

Last Saturday was one of the most enjoyable day in my life. I left home at around 12.30 and headed to bugis mrt. I would be attending a pidato (oratorical) which is the preliminary round for our school malay bahas(debate) team. They would be competing with other schools. (z.Z") Somehow saifullah,sadiq and suffyan did not see me waiting at bugis mrt so they left for long john silver at bugis st.

Finally Sufi came around 1.40 (10 minutes late...so much for being the prefect ic of latecomer duty xD ] I was told that he was the reserve out of the 5 man-team and only 4 will be speaking today. We met the rest,those 3 mentioned at long john then headed to masjid sultan. All the syf dancers except scholars, naufal and fatris were already there. I prayed first. Then the pidato started. It was sure an eye-opening experience for me. I learn useful techniques on pidato and i will keep it with me until next year maybe when i join the SJI bahas team...or sec4. Some topics were really hard for me but they could really talk about it very well.

Results came at 5.3opm. SJI qualified. The judges said that elite schools such as SJI aka Raja Bahas ( Debate King) and RGS aka (Debate Queen) did not perform up to the "expected" standard. Then SYF dancers went to Tepak Sireh restoran. First time going there. Any Malay in Singapore would say it is somewhat expensive to dine there. ( No offense to anybody). I some what then feel lucky to eat there for free under their invitation. The restaurant was related to my syf choreographer dance club.

Before we eat, they performed for us first. I thought to myself one of the 2 ladies was pretty. I kept that to my self until the end of the day the rest had the same thought ! Im a man... ok ok. Dinner was great. The food was good. Everything was good. Then they performed for the 2nd time. Then it was joget lambak time ! (malay clubbing ? not dangdut ) FUN. Then there were many photo shoots. I will try to post one here.

Time to return. Scholars left the place by walking to bugis. Locals walked to city hall. Why? To chill. Spend time together more. Bond. Stopped and took photo in front of raffles hotel. Lol. Reached raffles city. Chill at macdonalds. Only bought dessert coz we were too full. Went back by mrt .

So this saturday i will attend the debate of sji vs rgs [ ELITES !] with the motion of " the recession has shown signs of recovering". RGS is the Agree one then sji is the not agree ( forgot the terms.

OK. WE got a silver for syf malay dance 2009. T_T IM so depressed. We all wanted gold badly. Haiz... indian dance got gold. band got gold w honours. we get silver. chinese drama ? let fate decides. i guess we were fated for sliver. if silver is the majority award, then i will be satisfied. Well thats coz we are 1st timers doing malay dance. we only had sort of 6 months and we clinched silver. OH GOD ! I do not understand why you think we deserved a silver. I hope you have a good thing to be uncovered from this. ("hikmah") At least the experience was worth. Never in my life again i will do get this experience.

This afternoon we had our SYF Malay Dance. Lets start from this morning. I came to school in P.E. I felt quite weird receiving stares from other Joes who did not know why I wasnt in uniform. Had to report for assembly. After assembly, we went straight to aesthetics room to put our bags. Then we went to the hall for some touching up on our dance moves. To make sure its perfect ~_~. After that it was showering time ! Im not going to tell anything about it. Btw our shower room have no cubicles. ><.

It was brunch time. Then we put on our costume and were put on with make-up on our face. First time in my life use make-up >.< If can I will show put my pic here. Then it was the preview to school. Pple like mr lui, mrs goh pk ... and upper sec boys were watching. So we went to NUS UCC. With other schools there, pressure was more intense. Couldnt recognize which one was swiss cotage. Coz im not wearing specs.

Then when going to queue i heard my name somewhere. Turned to look then it was syuhada... z.Z ! Her mum still recognizes me ! Wah 2 years still can rmbr. Then we went to backstage. Waited like 5 mins. Then mc announce our dance item. Songs starts. ............................ at certain point of time while dancing I was a bit off by 1 seconds either fast or slow. Done ! Received thunderous applause. I think. Ok so it was swiss cottage turn. Sadly by the time from backstage go audience, their performance was over ! T_T

Watched other schools' performances such as Tampines, Whitley, Woodlands, West spring ...until 3.15 or so. Went to lobby for photo-taking with woodlands ring, our choreo's school also. Did lots of cheering and replying to their cheers. Went back to sji. We were all tired. Anxiously wanting to know the results which would be released tmrw 3pm. Pray PRay PRAy PRAY ! for gold w honours. Changed out of costume. Had hard time cleaning our faces. Then cikgu bought pizzas for us ! ^^ Pre-victory ? Ok. Thats all. Its a once in my life experience and i will miss all the saturday trainings. Time to start studying for MYE! Wait, I will wait for tmrw result before I celebrate on our SYF completion. =D
