Alhamdulillah we've made it to 2021. I have so much to be thankful for in 2020.
Once again, just like in NS, I spent my countdown at work (reservist). Always a pleasure to be back at Tuas Fire Station with Rota 3. It's never the same experience with all the changes in the rota. I certainly miss those who made my time at the rota more vibrant and insightful. To quote my DRC, "Wherever you are, we are all in a journey to the hereafter." Unlike my previous reservist cycles, there are significant changes for this cycle such as having 6 reservists this time, a station cat and reuniting with my batchmate, Hud. No fire large this time too. Ok maybe it's too early to say this cos I still have 1 duty left. Pretty much how I ended my 2020. I think I'd rather not dwell on the past.
To summarise my 2020: Intern->Circuit Breaker->Driving->Final Year->Reservist. It's strange how I have always looked forward to 2021 as it is my graduating year. Seems like all I think of are the uncertainties and challenges that lies ahead. Allah knows best. May He guide me to goodness in the dunya and hereafter.
One at a time. Chase my goals. Seek for His mercy.
I am going to get the job that I applied for. I will complete my FYP. I will graduate from uni. I will strive for istiqamah and be of khidmah to my family and friends.
