A very much delayed post but I have finally ORDed!!! Nothing much to say actually. It's more than just National Service to me. I've seen real shit that goes on in life and also in the working world happening to my colleagues then. Some are good while some may be unpleasant. A colleague getting married, having his first newborn, buying a new house/car, getting arrested for abusing drugs, losing a firstborn due to premature death, a colleague's daughter acing PSLE and entering RGS....the list goes on. All these life events that happen to my colleagues may not have any impact on me but it surely opened my eyes up to what's there to expect in adulthood. I learnt a lot from from what I was expected to. I will miss this rota and the fraternity none other than that in Tuas Rota 3. It's time to leave and there is no point in me staying any longer. Signing out.
