Ok so I went to Bukit Gombak today evening 5.30pm there to change my watch battery

(yeah its a nike but made in china...)
and hopefully the picture caption explains why the battery isnt long lasting if its an authentic nike watch. I would also rather change its battery rather than buying a new watch as pple's first impression of the watch is that it is authentic and looks expensive. Guess what ? Its only $10 bucks from some pasar malam. Also I bought top-up card for my prepaid. When Im done with everything there, I chose to walk back home. Roughly 200m to cover. On my way back, I passed by Little Guilin and decided to take a stroll there. Here's the pics...

Also on my way back after exiting little gulin, had to wait for the traffic light so I took another awsome pic yeah.

A summary of what I did the past weekend. Basically I attended YMC Service Learning Camp reluctantly initially...here are the activities we did(summarised):
Day 1 (6 June 2009)
Visit to Clementi Swimming Complex to watch the Special Olympics National Games (SONG ?) in their swimming competition. Main purpose of visit was to interact with the group of pple with special needs.

Followed by going to Bugis Junction for an ECO exhibition. To learn more about our environment.

Day 2( 7 June 2009)
Hike while carrying a "casualty" ( still got carry but pretend that he is shot...zzz) using a stretcher made out of materials. The hike was from Rifle Range Road( opp. King Albert Park) until outskirt of MacRitchie reservoir(for carrying the stretcher part...if you dun understand then heck lah). Then just a walk/jog until Sime Road. Barbecue dinner.

Day 3 (8 June 2009)
Service learning project planning. Until 11.30am then home sweet home.

I kind of didnt regret attending somehow. Fun and enjoying but like other camps of course lethargic. I was kind of anti-social for 1.5 days ( first half of the camp) until I really mixed with the sec2 on day 3. In this camp the sec2s are made up of different schools such as VS, SAS (Secondary), SJI (sharrol and I), RI, SCGS , CGSS, CGS and Commonwealth Sec. I didnt really make friends with the sec3 except for some. Groupings were always different at times. I guess thats it. Really a good time though. I guess thats it.

heys. how are you enjoying your holidays ? i can say mine's ok. Not too busy in the first week. came back to school just for physics remedial. This week theres YMC camp. Feel kinda lazy to go but too bad i submitted the form (WHY?). Nvm I will only come for 2 days and skip the last day. Heck it. If its not fun and I dont get to socialise a lot, then I will say its a real deal waste of time. Attending this camp also means that I will skip madrasah. holy shit. its supposed to be the alternative day to take the mid-year exam. hmm...so is it good or bad? hey and this week im feeling so down. why ? i feel like im enjoying (I am ?) the holidays on my own. Its like...i want to enjoy it with a special person. ROAR ! Thus I end up feeling really lonely. Just want some special company yeah... life sucks to be alone. Anytime I feel lonely and feel like want to spend time by myself i shall try going to little guilin or bb nature park to emo (as in be alone...). One of the points I like to live in Bukit Batok and also to be in the West. Ok enjoy your hols. I wish I can enjoy it with a special companion. =D (forcing a smile weakly)
