11 January

JCs Open House Day ! After a day of consideration, my top 3 choices were ACJC, CJC and SAJC in descending order (1,2,3). Planned to visit these JCs in reverse order though. Met up with 425 ppl at Potong Pasir CC. They had lunch at KFC. To hell with fast food ! ><. Whatever.

First impression of SAJC: Impressive compound o_O.
Great lively atmosphere in the campus and a close-knit community could be observed. Mmmm what else uhh.... ahh ya they have awesome senior Malays there.

Why I would choose SAJC: Nice campus, cool uniform and awesome senior Malays.

Next up was CJC. I pass by this JC on my way to SJI everyday and I am clueless of the compound and lifestyle. I could finally uncover what goes on beyond the entrance gate. Zzz.

First impression: Campus looks slightly run down but VERY SIMILAR layout like SJI wtf.

Slightly bigger than SJI for sure. Had a tour by old boys who are in J2. I got to admit that I love the close-knit community there. It truly felt like a family there. The culture resembles much of SJI too. I know why our seniors love it there now. I guess that's all

Why I would choose CJC: Direct bus from home (25 mins trip), SJI culture, Near SJI, Near Baalwi. (Oh just look at the perks of being in CJC)

Went back to SJI for lunch at the awesome Malay stall ^-^. Zohor there at my usual spot and then headed off to ACJC, final open house for the day.

First impression: What a rich school. Just look at their facilities and campus.

The atmosphere was too vibrant. I finally understood the stereotype given to ACJC students. A fun JC and party all out indeed. o_O. I could also see the students separated into different cliques unlike SA and CJ. What a turn-off. Haha. Explored the campus on our own and chilled until 5pm, when the open house ended.

Why I would choose ACJC: Awesome school uniform, floorball and its campus.

Spent the next day considering my options yet again. Finally, I could hear that God wants me to be at CJC as my heart felt that it is the right choice for me after I did my Isya' prayer at Ar-Raudhah. Alhamdulillah. Submitted CJC as my 1st choice. No problem getting in for sure. I could finally see why God gave me such O lvl results. He is indeed the greatest in providing the best option for us. I am not going to regret this decision for sure. Hope to have a good 2 years there and start afresh. Have to work really hard for sure.

God bless.
