GP Paper 1
- I think I wrote out of point or just lack content. Essay length was 2 pages. Ya I only used 1 paper. Hahahaha fml.
- Categorised my points wrongly. Found a crumpled essay draft at... Staircase 6 (no questions asked please) which belongs to an anonymous J2 and realised how I could've organised my points more thoroughly and into the categories which was written in that draft. So beautiful, I wish I had planned my essay the same way but I guess I panicked and wasn't composed enough to think of the same points during the paper.
- Already knew before the paper that there will be 2 compre passages but woah, blown away by the content of it. It was more of a philosophy writing by two writers seriously. Or maybe I'm just dumb. Hmm. Handful of bombastic words in the passages or maybe my vocab is just that limited.
- Again, knew beforehand that AQ will involve comparing authors' views. Crapped a paragraph out mm ya.
- 3h paper with all components from Papers 1-3. What in the world. Mentally exhausted after 2h+. Therefore wrote only 2-3 lines for each essay question and my planning question was halfway done. I really hate the format this time but whatever, at least I'm done with it.
- Last but not least, (in fact this is the best point) the only hint given by the Bio dept for our paper was that it was similar to A level standard. Boy sure it was, more than half of the MCQ was from TYS and I think only 1 or 2 questions from STQ wasn't from TYS (a friend of mine noticed it when he flipped open the TYS after the paper when he was home) Not too sure about the essay questions and planning. My Bio TYS is still clean fyi. What a huge loss from not heeding that advice. I focused more on the past school papers and tests I took in the past 2 years+. Anyway my original plan was to do like 5 papers (all new syllabus) after prelims. The price I pay for being stubborn.
