It's over. It's finally over. Today marks the day we end our Floorball A division season. We were gunning for a victory today but things didn't go in our favour. All it took was a lapse in our defence, conceding a goal in the second period which set the ball rolling (no pun intended). I guess we deserved to lose. We went into the match complacent and wasn't really playing to our best. I kinda saw that coming. I had a premonition on the bus journey to RP that we will lose this match and I just couldn't picture us winning the match and celebrating. Their drive to win was truly prominent throughout the match. Looks like history repeats itself for us. We've had our proud moments together as a team and our downfalls too. Our performance this season (bottom table btw with 1 point) is merely a reflection of our commitment to trainings and pt. Shall not dwell more on our season. All in all, I'm just relieved that it's over though it didn't end the way we wanted it to be.

That aside, the end of our season also signifies the start of my full commitment to studies. No more excuses. I believe that the next 5 months or so will be the most crucial period in my A level prepations. Totally driven to do well for A's, mainly by my sec4 classmates and other SJI friends. Proud of them all for their stellar results. I can only blame myself if I don't achieve my desired results. Really can't afford to perform under my expectations and regret in the future. Time is in my hands now. I can spend some time gymming after school but no more chasing after girls please hahaha. Jk, I was never involved in any of that bgr stuff, for this year (I don't think getting quoted on someone's blog posts twice counts) at least and absolutely no desire to change the status quo. Let's hope that I can get over today's loss and have a fun week ahead especially with the upcoming Sports Carnival this Friday which is also my last event as a Sports Leader. May my midyear results fuel my drive to succeed. Well, I can only pray for the best and focus on what I am in control of now. God bless.
