It hit me when my cousin's baby squealed in delight upon stroking the cat's fur . He's a cat lover too just like the majority of my cousins. It runs in the extended family apparently.
It hit me when I rode my bike home for the first time. Paid in full. A dream come true. My dream 2b bike. It's mine now. It's going to be a part of me in the 5-7 years to come. Here's to more adventures together. I pray for my own safety once I kick the gear down.
It hit me when a group of primary school students groaned upon given pages to complete in their assessment book. Right, I am their tutor. Their innocence never fails to brighten up my day. I hope I'll make a difference in their lives.
It hit me as I took down minutes during a meeting at work. I questioned my presence in this meeting. This is not the job for me despite how I always portray it as an enjoyable one. Fake it till you make it they say. I can't wait for this to end despite knowing that I'll miss this someday.
It hit me that I am an adult. Or at least that's what people treat me as. I miss my schooling days. I miss my childhood more than anything else.
