Dear self

You are doing great. 

You have made it this far in life.

You are halfway through uni.

You have completed NS, and had a time of your life then.

You are blessed with the financial means and freedom to travel to do the things you love.

To witness Allah's majestic creations.
To instill humility in yourself.
To see the world.

You have a loving family to come home to everyday. 

You have an adorable niece, who you dearly love with all your heart.

You can never get enough of her, as of now.

You have a small circle of friends for support in school.

You have a clique from secondary school, to reminisce of the fun times in the past.

You have passed your class 2 license, despite frustratingly failing 2B tp test several times.

You are left with one last license before graduation.

Your plans are in line with His plans, alhamdulillah, for He is the best of all planners.

You chose a 1 month summer exchange over a semester exchange.

All because of how you highly value your family in your life.

You are brave to date again, after your past dates bear fruitless results.

You accept what has been decreed for you.

You understand why things were not meant to be and move on.

You put others first and serve them as much as you can.

You set your intentions to spread love, out of love for Allah.

You see yourself as a human full of faults and sins, better than none in this world.

You hold on to your prayers regardless of how you commit sins from time to time.

You want to make your parents proud.
You do your best to display good manners and character to all.
You strive to seek balance in preparing for your future, in the dunya and the deen.
You aspire to be a leader of a family someday.

You acknowledge how love means nothing if it does not garner love and mercy from Allah.
You try to love solely to please Allah.
You try to be God-conscious, so as to attain peace in your heart.
You are nothing but just a servant of Allah.

May I hold on strongly to the book of Allah and the sunnah as long as I am still here in dunya.
May I have enough deeds to prepare me for the deen.
May Allah grant me husnul khotimah.
